I don't see the point in doing anything halfheartedly, so I am very passionate about my work. I've been creating artwork for as long as I can remember, and am fond of painting, drawing, sculpture, and other media, though my primary focus has turned towards photography in the past several years. I find it fascinating that light is such a fundamental part of existence, necessary for almost everything we perceive around us. I love recording it and manipulating it; studying how it moves me and how I can use it to move others. I'm currently in my junior year of working towards a BFA in Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. It's a terrific school and a beautiful city, and I love being here. I shoot primarily in the 35mm digital format, and am extremely proficient in the use of Photoshop for post production, manipulation, and design. When a line must be drawn, however, I try hard to keep my images firmly grounded in some aspect of reality. I want my audience to feel like the image they're viewing-- no matter how spectacular-- actually occurred at some point in the same universe that they inhabit. www.seenew.net
